Covid Entry Check: Taiwan Travel Restrictions

Entry is restricted to Citizens and PRs, Other Residents (pass holders), Transit, Citizens and long stay visa only. From June 29, 2020, foreign nationals who wish to travel to Taiwan for reasons other than tourism and regular social visits may apply for a special entry permit with an R.O.C. overseas mission by submitting relevant documents and forms. Travellers with a Chinese Taipei passport or an Alien Resident Certificate without a medical certificate are subject to RT-PCR test upon arrival.
From 1 December 2020, all inbound and transit arrivals must provide a negative result of a COVID-19 test administered within three days of departure.
All travellers must complete "Quarantine System for Entry Form" before departure.

You must obtain advance arrival permission to board your plane.
You are required to complete a pre-arrival form.
