Covid Entry Check: India Travel Restrictions

Entry is restricted to Citizens and PRs, Spouse & Children of Citizens/PRs, Other Residents (pass holders), Business Travellers, Relief, repatriation and humanitarian flights. Travellers with a Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card, travellers with a non-Tourist visa issued by India, travellers returning from a neighboring country via India to their country of residence, travellers with diplomatic, official, UN/International Organizations, project visas, business visas and Indian visa or e-visa issued after 30 June 2020 can enter. Nationals of Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Canada, Iraq, Japan, Kenya, Maldives, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, USA, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Rwanda or Tanzania with an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card or booklet.
Travellers required to fill up ICMR Health form on arrival, undergo COVID-19 test at the Airport, and download Aarogya Setu App. Travellers are also subjected to medical screening and quarantine for 14 days. Travellers are not allowed to transit Delhi. Travellers to Chennai (MAA) and Tiruchirappalli (TRZ) must have a printed medical certificate in English with a negative Coronavirus COVID-19 RT-PCR test result, taken at most 96 hours before departure. Those without a medical certificate are subject to RT-PCR test and quarantine for 14 days
Effective 8 January 2021 until 30 January 2021, passengers arriving from the United Kingdom:
- must complete a self-declaration form at www.newdelhiairport.in at least 72 hours before departure; and
- must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) RT-PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. Passengers must upload the test result at www.newdelhiairport.in ; and
- are subject to a Coronavirus (COVID-19) RT-PCR test upon arrival and quarantine for 14 days.
📝 Before your trip
You must obtain advance arrival permission to board your plane.
You are required to complete a pre-arrival form.

You will need a formal Medical Certificate presenting a negative PCR test from an accepted establishment.
Your Certificate must be within 4 days of your arrival.
🛬 On Arrival
On Arrival you will be required to complete a test for Covid, with the cost borne by the traveller.
