Can you enter?

Entry is restricted to Citizens and PRs, Spouse & Children of Citizens/PRs, Other Residents (pass holders), Foreign nationals must have special case. Travellers with Special Permanent Residence Permit and a Re-entry Permit or an Embarkation and Disembarkation Card, with a diplomatic or an official visa issued by Japan are allowed to enter. From 1 October 2020, travellers with a visa issued by Japan with "EX-R" or "EX-B" in the Remarks column are allowed to enter. They must also have a printed medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 test result, taken at most 72 hours before departure.

You are required to complete a pre-arrival form.

You will need a formal Medical Certificate presenting a negative PCR test from an accepted establishment.
Your Certificate must be within 3 days of your arrival.

🛬 On Arrival

On Arrival you will be required to complete a test for Covid, with the cost borne by the traveller.

The Singapore-Japan Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) is applicable to all residents in Singapore and Japan entering/exiting through Tokyo (Narita International Airport or Haneda International Airport) or Osaka (Kansai International Airport). Travellers must have a visa issued by Japan with "EX-R" or "EX-B" in the Remarks column, or have the Letter of Confirmation of Submitting Required Documentation for Re-entry into Japan.
